Most Challenged Books of 2011

The ALA just released the most challenged books of 2011 (which they take from reports from schools and libraries all over the country). Reminds me of when I was in High School and I attempted to read the 100 most challenged books in history ... however I got a little bored with all the historical novels :) These, on the other hand, seem much more exciting.
Check out the whole article here and compare your "read list" to the following::

ttyl; ttfn; l8r, g8r - by Lauren Myracle

The Color of Earth - Kim Dong Hwa

The Hunger Games Series - Suzanne Collins
(seriously! I understand but I love these books)
(Read It!)

My Mom's Having a Baby - Dori Hillestad Butler
(do people really expect this book to not be graphic?)

The Absolutely True Story of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie
(really interesting article by Sherman Alexie here)

The Alice Series by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
(Read It!)

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
(Read It!)

Gossip Girl Series by Cecily Von Ziegesar
(Read It - no "!", they weren't that fantastic)

What My Mother Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones

I'm embarrassed that I've only read four out of the ten books here (12 if you include the series, but I don't think they do). Looks like I have more to add to my reading list!
