I just started this last night, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The beginning few lines are very captivating, but now I'm not sure what is going on (I'm only two chapters in), and I'm not sure the main character does either (however, she doesn't seem confused). The pacing is a little off for me. The front cover says it is the retelling of the Persephone myth - but the main character is studying it in school and doesn't seem aware that she IS Persephone. I'll keep you updated.

I . Just . Can't . Read . It . 

I usually try and finish a book (especially once I start writing a review on it), but I can't get into this one. I feel like I'm sitting in a fog trying to figure out what is going on, how people feel about it, and why I should care. Maybe I'll come back to it later. For now, sorry, but this review is going to come to a disappointing end.
